Who can book Lodsworth Village Hall?
Lodsworth Village Hall is suitable for many different events and functions from weddings & parties to business meetings and film evenings and can be booked by anyone. We have many local clubs and charities that use the facilities on a regular basis too from art classes to football and yoga clubs to name a few. So you can see how versatile the space is.
What facilities do you have at the hall?
Lodsworth Village Hall comprises of 3 key areas.
Our main hall – approx 8m X 12m with a seated capacity of 140 conference style or 110 round tables. The hall also has a large stage at one end and bluetooth soundsystem
Our Clubroom – approx 5.5m X 8m with a seated capacity of 60 conference style or 35 round tables. There are serving hatches to our Bar and Kitchen
Our Kitchen – modern in style with all of the equipment you will need for your event – Commercial dishwashers, 3 ovens, gas hob, service areas and cutlery and crockery etc.
What services do you have at the hall?
Our hall has a large foyer enterance, modern toilets, disabled and baby change facilities. At the side of the hall we also have 2 large changing rooms with attached toilets and shower facilities.
Do you accept regular bookings?
Of course. In fact the majority of our bookings are regular classes and events. Like yoga, art classes & film nights – we are always looking to welcome new regular hirers.
Do you cater for events?
We do not cater for your event. We do however have plenty of local suppliers that we thourougly recommend. Take a look here.
How do I book Lodsworth Village Hall?
All of our booking detail can be found on our contacts page here. However we always suggest that you come and visit us and have a tour of the hall to see if it meets your needs.
How much do you charge to hire the hall?
This is very dependant on the event, your requirements and the timings. Once you have made an initial enquiry and we have some details of your requirements we can provide you with a quote to hire. We do have our basic charges listed here but most bookings will be bespoke so please do get in touch for a quote.
From what time do we have access to the hall?
Hirers can access the hall from 0800. (subject to hire agreement)
What time does the venue close?
Because there are village houses close to the hall, we ask that all music outdoors is stopped at 2300pm and music indoors is stopped by midnight. We then ask that the hall is safely locked and vacated by 0100.
Do you have a bar?
Yes, we have a fully licensed bar in a separate bar room with a serving hatch to the Club Room. However, you need to bring your own drink and glasses. The bar room is equipped with a counter, refrigerators and sink.
Do you allow fireworks?
No
Do you provide table linen?
No.
Do you have Wi-Fi?
Yes and it is free.
